Shortcake and Sugar Bee candles are hand poured in small batches. Our candles are 100% soy with natural fragrant oils and cotton wicks. We inspect every candle to ensure top quality. Each candle is in a tin jar with a "wood look" tin lid. FOR BEST BURNING:
-Always trim your wick to approx 1/4' before each use, removing all charring and plumes from previous burns.
-Make sure to allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter of your candle on the first burn- this helps prevent tunneling, which can impact how well the candle burns.
NOTE: Home decor is not included, this is for ONE candle only. Candle tins and jars do get hot. They can leave burn marks or cause fires if unattended. Always burn ANY candle on a heat safe surface.

WHY SOY WAX?
SUSTAINABLE: Soy wax is a renewable resource that's made from soybeans, a vegetable that's easy to grow and are grown without pesticides or herbicides. It's also biodegradable, doesn't contain any toxic or harmful chemicals and is non-carcinogenic.
CLEAN BURN: Soy wax is a natural material that produces less soot than other waxes. It also bonds well with fragrances, so soy candles smell the same from start to finish.
LONGER BURN TIME: Soy wax candles burn 30–50% longer than paraffin wax candles because it has a lower melting point and burns at a lower temperature
VEGAN: Soy wax is a natural, vegan resource.
In short, soy wax provides a slow, clean burn without harsh chemicals filling your air.

We source only clean, phthalate-free, paraben-free, mutagen-free, fragrant oils. They are created using quality fragrance oils and pure essential oils and are tested for top quality performance.
